WiiMednafen ist ein Port des Emulators Mednafen. Dieser kann verschiedene Konsolen emulieren, dazu gehören:
Der Emulator ist noch nicht ganz ausgereift. Es fehlen noch einige Features, beispielsweise lassen sich Cheat-Dateien noch nicht konfigurieren, die PC-FX-Emulation ist extrem langsam. Das Bedienungs-Menü ist funktional und bietet keine GUI. Außerdem werden nur Standart-Controller unterstützt, beispielsweise der NES-Zapper funktioniert noch nicht.
Installation:
Kopiere den Inhalt des Ordners wiimednafen-0_1 in das Root-Verzeichnis der SD-Karte. Im Ordner wiimednafen werden Speicherdateien, BIOS, Bilder und mehr platziert und gespeichert. ROMs können in ein beliebiges Verzeichnis gelegt werden.

Für die Emulation einiger Konsolen wird eine BIOS-Datei benötigt. Diese darf aus rechtlichen Gründen nicht angeboten werden. Die BIOS-Datei muss im Ordner in SD:/wiimednafen platziert werden. Für die jeweilige Konsole wird folgende BIOS-Datei benötigt:

- Fixed bug where screen sizing controls were not being properly rotated (games with vertical orientation).

- WonderSwan control mappings now supports "profile" toggle. Allows for saving mappings for both orientations for a single game (Klonoa, etc.).
- Updated Game Gear to display with proper aspect ratio.
